Vic Stanley, a wandering cowboy, is found by Clint Taggart and his daughter, Amy, after he has escaped from a band of rustlers. Upon recovering his sight from a desert sandstorm, he sees and falls in love with Amy and becomes resolute in his decision to uncover the identity of the rustlers and particularly their leader, "The Eagle." Though blind during his capture, he nevertheless recognizes the voice of The Eagle in McElroy, a leading banker. After another escape from the gang, Vic manages to save Taggart and Amy from The Eagle's sticky clutches, exposes their operation, and proceeds on course with Amy.

The White Rider

Tenderfoot Chauncey Day arrives in the small Southwestern boom town of Rawhide where Jackson Grade, the recorder of deeds, is accumulating his own fortune through falsifying documents. Authorized to offer miner Joel Brand $100,000 for his claim, Grade attempts to pocket $95,000 by bidding only $5,000. When Brand refuses the offer, Grade attempts extortion by faking his own murder at Brand's hands. Then Grade's accomplice Marsh threatens to have Brand arrested until the White Rider appears with proof of Grade's infamy, thus exposing the crooks. Justice served, the Rider reveals himself to be Tenderfoot Chauncey Day and wins the heart of Brand's daughter Jewel.

Meanwhile, unscrupulous stockbroker Samuel Barnes and adventuress Teddy Craig are trying to get control of the Bluebird Lode from New Yorker Jackson J. Joseph, who is coming West to meet his daughter Nedra. Teddy tries to ensnare November to help fight Joseph, claiming he's trying to take her mine, but he refuses. Teddy's accusation of Jones's cowardice does not bother him until he falls in love with Nedra, who shuns him, believing Teddy's rumor. When Mr. Joseph is kidnapped and Jones saves him Nedra learns the truth and agrees to marry him.

This they pay off and start a campaign to clean up the town. They meet with considerable opposition until they enlist the services of Judge Fay.

The Sheriff's Dilemma

The Mysterious Outlaw

Henry Martin receives a letter from Buck Lessen, a convict about to be released from prison, telling him that his time is up and he is going to get him for sending him to prison and marrying his sweetheart, Jane. Two drunken cowboys ride by firing their pistols. When Henry comes outside he sees Buck's body lying in the grass, shot to death by a stray bullet.

The Frontier Trail

Dolly Mainard, en route to her father, a major at Fort Blaine, is escorted through dangerous Sioux territory by a cavalry detachment and Army scout Jim Cardigan. When Captain Blackwell offends some braves of Chief Gray Wolf's tribe, Jim is sent ahead to the Indian camp to ask for peace. Imprisoned by the Indians, he sends a message to Blackwell not to advance; Donlin, a renegade scout, tears the note in such a way that the message is distorted, and the entire force is killed. When Jim escapes, he is accused of treason by Blackwell, court-martialed, and sentenced to death; however, he escapes and rescues Dolly, her father, and Blackwell from Donlin's band of renegades. Jim discovers the missing portion of the note in Donlin's hat, proving his innocence. Dolly remains to become his wife.

The Chief's Blanket

When the Great Chief's body is placed before the funeral pile by his mourning braves, his sacred blanket is covered over it and a sentinel left to watch that this, his last resting place, is not desecrated. The tribe has just departed for their village when a mountain outlaw appears and succeeds in stealing the blanket, having given the sentinel doctored whiskey. When the Indians discover this they exile the unfaithful sentinel until he can recover the blanket.
