Roger's health is declining and trauma flashbacks rack his mind; Kouy gently aids his family before the snow falls and the hunting season ends, signaling his time to leave.

Scientists estimate that on current trends the forest could disappear. The problem is aggravated due to the overpopulation of herbivores that impede natural forest regeneration. The solution is to restore the ecological balance and leave it to nature itself that recovers the forest.
