Here you will see real people – fishermen and Sami – in our best known travel destination, in magnificent, flowing scenes revealing rapturous artistic flair. Three cheers!” Life in this part of the country is totally dependent on nature. Winter storms, cold polar nights, the midnight sun and warm summer days. Communities that rebuilt themselves after being totally destroyed during World War II. You can take part in all of this and experience life at the North Cape, the northern outpost of Europe. Daughters of the Midnight Sun

In the film about "the land of eternal light and eternal darkness" we meet some women who talk about their lives. The women have all grown up in reindeer herding families and as children they lived in kotas, moved with reindeer and lived a life in nature. Their own children, on the other hand, have grown up in "normal" Swedish society. None of them have lived like their parents. The film addresses Sami culture, language, school. How modern technology has affected the lives of the Sami.

A drama about the manager Håkan Dahlin who has just been discharged from a clinic where he was treated for his alcoholism. In an outbreak of jealousy, Dahlin abuses his wife Inga and after that he is forcibly interned again. Inga is a nurse and she is now moving to a mountain village to work at a district clinic. During an emergency visit, she encounters her childhood sweetheart, the doctor Gunnar, and old feelings between them begin to flare up again.

Niñato

Jobless and with no prospects, Niñato (Brat) lives with his parents and does hip-hop music. He lives the life of the outskirts, it's the Madrid of the chronic crisis. Time goes by, the kids are growing up and Niñato carries on, making music and looking after the children, without worrying too much about his future. Oro, the smallest one, not too motivated at school, will demand more attention and drive Niñato to face his own conflicts.

An elderly lady who has lost her son tries to talk some sense into her fellow citizens urging them to accept peace.
