Houcine is a 64-year-old rag and bone amongst hundreds of them in Casablanca and whose valuable work is almost invisible. The decision of the local authorities to abolish the carts drawn by animals threatens to wipe their livelihood in the name of the modernization of Casablanca which wants to be a "Smart City". The film follows Houcine's daily routine despite his multiple health concerns.

Zurawski v Texas

An active movement to bring a halt to this disaster has begun to unfold with one organization after another emerging to fight for Soho. Organizations made up of citizens and celebrities have sprung up to combat this onslaught. Will they win this battle and save Soho?

Primary is the first documentary to use light equipment in order to follow their subjects in a more intimate filmmaking style. This unconventional way of filming created a new look for documentary films where the camera’s lens was right in the middle of what ever drama was occurring. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in partnership with The Film Foundation in 1998.
