Spoorloos is a television program of the KRO-NCRV in which tracing blood relatives is central. Sometimes family members have lost track of each other, or have never even seen each other. The reasons why contact is broken are diverse. For example, a child who has been abandoned by one of the parents after a broken relationship or a baby who has been given up for adoption. These often concern sensitive matters that require the editors to proceed cautiously. The presentation is in the hands of Derk Bolt. He regularly goes out to track down family members.

The Journey

The Journey” is an Islamic, educational story-telling series that narrates the adventure of the brother and sister: (Basil), (Marmar) and their friends (Malik) and the parrot (Zenan). Where the children go on a magical adventure by coincidence through Basil’s kite to the mysterious island of manners against their will through the wind to discover a beautiful world inhibited by a good family catering a huge tree which is the manners tree and the wise grandpa tells them that the only way to return to their homeland is by repairing the kite that was torn by the wind during their move to the island by obtaining the leaves of the magical manners tree but in order for them to obtain each leaf they have to act according to the good manner written on it.

Adlet Mayer, self-proclaimed "Strongest Man in the World," has arrived at the continent of Piena in hopes of becoming a Brave. Although it doesn't go as smoothly as he had planned, Adlet is ultimately chosen as one of the six heroes shortly after being greeted by Nashetania Loei Piena Augustra, crown princess and fellow Brave. This story follows the two as they embark upon their destined journey to fight the Demon God, intending to meet up with their fellow heroes. However, when they finally unite, seven heroes are present, and soon the others begin to suspect Adlet to be a fraud. Now on the run, Adlet must utilize his unique skill set and wit in a fight for his life to identify which member of the group is the true impostor before it's too late!

It was conceived by Michiel Devlieger, Bart de Pauw, Tom Lenaerts and Michel Vanhove, and won the famous Rose d'Or in Montreux, Switzerland, in 2000. The format has been licensed in 40 countries from all around the world. The show aired on TV1 (now VRT 1) for 3 reasons between 1998 and 2003; in 2016 it was revived and moved to VIER (now Play4).
