Promiscuity, jealousy, violence, incest, suicide, cannibalism and indeed hermaphrodites all serve an evolutionary purpose - and in the animal world, monogamy is a "sexually deviant" behaviour that serves no evolutionary intent. 3 x 1 hour episodes. Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures is a reality television series about animals and their exciting adventures. This series is hosted by Jack Hanna, Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. It is shown weekly in syndication across the country on numerous stations and networks. It is particularly popular in part because of Hanna's mainstream name recognition as an animal expert, but also because the show meets programing criteria for federally mandated educational and informational requirements which all stations must follow. Because of this, some networks air the show five days per week, thus covering all but a half hour of the three-hour E/I mandate.

The World's Funniest Moments is a reality television series produced by Associated Television International. Taped in front of a live audience, the show features humorous video clips taken from the Internet and submitted by viewers. The series results in part from the popularity of YouTube and is described as "capturing life's most outrageous moments caught on tape". But what makes this show different, according to Hall, is that many of the videos produced are short films produced by aspiring Spike Lees. A number of the short films come from shortbrain.tv. The series originally ran on MyNetworkTV, until that network decided to focus on reruns of older shows, the network did not renew The World's Funniest Moments for 2009-2010. The show resumed in syndication for the Fall of 2010 with Erik Estrada and Laura McKenzie hosting.

Made in Scotland

Made in Scotland was a 3-part documentary series produced by STV Productions and broadcast on STV in Northern and Central Scotland in 2009, presented by Taggart actor John Michie. The show has since been broadcast across the UK on digital channel Blighty. Michie, as well as a number of well known faces from Scotland, focus on an iconic symbol that makes Scotland so unique and recognisable internationally. Exploring the country, its people and its culture, this series has seen celebrities examining Scottish icons that many Scots take for granted, while revealing little known history and also challenging popular assumptions. The programme was made by STV, in association with the Daily Record and Sunday Mail, to celebrate Homecoming Scotland 2009. 10-minute clips of the programme are used as fillers on STV.

My Kitchen Rules

My Kitchen Rules is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network since 2010. The series is produced by the team who created the Seven reality show My Restaurant Rules, and was put into production based on the success of Network Ten's MasterChef Australia. My Kitchen Rules has just been renewed by the Seven Network for a fifth series.

Comedy Connections

Comedy Connections was a BBC One documentary series produced by BBC Scotland that aired from 2003 to 2008. The show looked at the stories behind the production of some of Britain's comedy television programmes, showing how they tied in with the production of other comedy shows. The show featured interviews with some of the cast and crew of the subject programme, as well as footage from the series. Comedy Connections mostly documented BBC comedies and sitcoms, although two programmes have been from ITV and two from Channel 4. The first series consisted of six episodes, however the rest of the series consist of eight episodes each, the first two series were narrated by Julia Sawalha, however the rest of the series were narrated by Doon Mackichan.
